Private tutor compensation information
Learners and parents see the tutor's published session rate and the total booking amount. TutoDemy's platform-fee percentages, tutor tier, net earnings, and settlement records are private account information shown only to the tutor and authorized administrators.
Registered tutors receive the applicable fee schedule in their private tutor dashboard. The rate applied to a completed booking is recorded in the tutor's private earnings ledger.
When a booking counts
A session is recorded as completed only after the tutor accepts the request, payment is confirmed, the scheduled lesson occurs, the tutor marks it delivered, and TutoDemy administration closes the booking. Active refunds, disputes, confirmed no-shows, or fraudulent transactions may prevent completion.
Request a schedule before payment
- The learner chooses an approved tutor and proposes a schedule.
- The tutor accepts or declines the request.
- TutoDemy provides the applicable payment instructions and confirms the transaction.
- The tutor delivers the session and marks it delivered.
- TutoDemy closes the booking and enables the completed-session record and review option.
Unpaid requests may be cancelled from the learner account
Paid cancellations, late cancellations, no-shows, partial refunds, and rescheduling are reviewed according to the terms disclosed for the booking. TutoDemy may request supporting information from either party before resolving a dispute.
Only completed bookings may produce verified reviews
Each completed booking may receive one learner review. TutoDemy may hide abusive, fraudulent, irrelevant, or privacy-violating content. Tutor visibility and account standing may be affected by repeated cancellations, no-shows, policy violations, misleading information, or substantiated complaints.
Payment is confirmed after tutor acceptance
No payment is collected on the initial booking-request form. Payment instructions are provided only after the tutor accepts the schedule. Learners should use only the official payment method and reference instructions supplied by TutoDemy for that booking.
